The Original Flesh Gordon Comes To Comic-Con
It's the 40th Anniversary of an adult parody film that launched the careers of Rick Baker, Greg Jein, Dennis Muren and a host of others who are in the "Who's Who" of Hollywood Special Effects, and one man was at the center of it all: Jason Williams.
Jason played the title role in Flesh Gordon, which wasn't just a launching pad for special effects wizards; it went on to become a huge cult classic.
He'll be appearing for the first time at Comic-Con next week -- 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every day at the Sails Pavilion, Booth #AA30 (according to the Comic-Con schedule).
